1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TinyApplause ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TinyApplause is a peer recognition platform that allows team members to send and receive genuine recognition messages. The Service includes a recognition feed, tag-based organization, team dashboards, and analytics tools. The Service is available via web browser.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account or be invited to join a team. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete registration information.

4. Team Accounts

Team administrators are responsible for managing their team's membership, settings, and subscription. When you create or administer a team, you agree to manage it in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. Team administrators may invite or remove members at their discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Send recognition messages that are harassing, abusive, or discriminatory
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any team

6. Content and Recognition Messages

You retain ownership of the recognition messages you create. By posting recognition through the Service, you grant TinyApplause a limited license to display, store, and transmit that content as necessary to provide the Service. Recognition messages are visible to members of your team.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

TinyApplause offers free and paid subscription plans. The Free plan supports up to 10 team members. Paid plans (Starter and Pro) offer higher member limits, additional features, and are billed on a monthly or annual basis. Paid plans are charged from the day you subscribe; the Free plan is available for as long as you like. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by TinyApplause and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you submit through the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. TinyApplause shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
